Orange Little League 2021 Online Registration Center
Registering a new player takes 45 minutes. Registering a returning player takes about 10 minutes. Please read the following information before registering, it will make the registration process much easier.
There is a lot of information on this page so it is divided into the following sections:
- Documents needed for registration
- Payment Options
- Medical Information
- Volunteer Information
- OLL's uniform policy
- Refund Policy
- Registration instructions
- Registration options
Unfortunately, the registration system can log you out if it does not detect activity for an extended period of time. If the registration system logs you out all the entries on the final registration form will be lost and you will have to re-enter them. Please prepare the information and documentation described here before you begin to register your child online.
1. Documents needed for registration
OLL needs to provide documentation about our players to Little League International so we collect this information from you at registration. If you plan to come to walk-up registration please bring the documentation listed in this section.
We need 3 types of documentation the player's birth certificate, a parent's driver's license, and proof of residence. The player's birth certificate and the parent's driver's license are simple, but the proof of residency is complex.
There are 2 ways to satisfy the proof of residency. The school waiver or the 3 proofs of residency. These two methods are described in the following section.
Residency by school waiver
The simplest method is often the school waiver. School waiver forms are available here. You, the player's guardian, should fill out the top portion of the school waiver. Then take the form to your player's school administrator for their signature. The following schools are within the OLL boundary. If your player attends any of these schools the simplest proof of residence may be the Little League Baseball and Softball School Enrollment Form.
- Holy Family
- St. John’s
- Palmyra Elementary
- West Orange Elementary
- Immanuel Lutheran School
- Cambridge Elementary
- Portola Middle School
- Yorba Middle School
- Sycamore Elementary
- Lampson Elementary
- California Elementary
- Far Horizons Montessori
If you are planning to use the school waiver and come to walk-up registration, please have your waiver signed by your school administrators before you come to walk-up registration, and bring the signed copy.
Residency by 3 proofs
If you can't, or do not want to, use the school waiver you must use the 3 proofs of residency. The official requirement for the 3 proofs of residency is described on this webpage. Basically, you need one document from EACH of these three Groups. Each document must have the address used to register the player on it.

4. Volunteer Information
Please volunteer and fill out a volunteer form.
OLL is organized and run by volunteers. We need everyone to pitch in to have the best season. Our coaches and managers are the most visible and heroic volunteers. But, every team needs a team parent and field maintainer. Also, every AA and up team also needs a scorekeeper, and an umpire or two (or more). These are important positions that must be filled by parents, preferably not coaches or managers. We have seen teams where the manager and coaches are the only team umpires, and the manager's spouse is the team parent and scorekeeper, and only one or two families show up for field maintenance. It does work, for the first couple of weeks. But, as the season goes on the team ends up with burned-out, bitter volunteers. Teams that distribute responsibilities from the beginning have much better seasons. The relationships and connections are much stronger if we all work together. Please volunteer and help everyone else volunteer. We have training for scorekeepers and umpires. We can show you how to umpire or scorekeep if this is your first time. There is less pressure to be perfect if you start at the lower levels, and grow as your player moves up, so it's never too early to start learning how to scorekeep or umpire. Also, please treat our volunteers like the rockstars they are. Let your managers, coaches, umpires, scorekeepers, team parents and field maintainers know how much you appreciate their effort and energy making sure our kids have a safe place to play baseball. And, please be patient when the inevitable confusion and mistakes happen. We couldn't do this without our volunteers!
We take the safety of our players very seriously. We run background checks on all adults that interact with the children. To complete the registration process you must fill out a volunteer form for at least one person in your players household. The online volunteer form is available here. Please fill out the volunteer form once for each adult that may come to the field with your player.
The volunteer form has options where you specify what jobs you want to volunteer for.
To run your background check we need your social security number on the form. We understand that this is sensitive information and we handle your data with utmost care.
Please fill out a volunteer form this year even if you filled one out last year.
Here is a link to the online volunteer form.
Please have as many people in your family fill out the volunteer form as possible. The volunteer forms should be filled out before registering a player but are available anytime during the season.

5. OLL's Uniform Policy
OLL will provide the following parts of a player's uniform; a jersey (with the player's last name and number on the back), a team hat, socks, and a belt. This year OLL will not provide uniform pants. The uniform coordinator will inform your team what color pants are required for your player's uniform. You will purchase baseball pants on your own.

6. Refund Policy
We will be happy to refund your entire registration fee until draft night. However, once the draft is complete it becomes very painful to move players around.
So, there will be no refunds after draft night!
As draft night will be the week after tryouts. As we approach draft night we will send out a reminder about the refund policy.
