A couple of reminders while at the OLL fields.

  • OUSD requires that all spectators and coaches need to wear their masks at all times.
  • OUSD requires NO dogs on the school grounds.
  • When parking on Elm, NO parking on the residential side of the street.  You will be cited or towed.  Only park on the school side.

We had a great opening day.  By abiding by the OUSD guidelines our league will stay in compliance and we will have a great season.

Orange Unified School District Corona Virus Addendum

OLL Family,

The OLL facilities are the property of the Orange Unified School District (OUSD).  In order to protect our population while using the OUSD facilities, OLL has agreed to the guidelines listed below to protect our population from the Coronavirus.

Please take these guidelines into account when at the OLL fields for either a practice or a game.

Your responsibility is to ...

  • Make sure you and everyone you bring to the fields is healthy.
  • Wear a face covering while at the field.
  • Maintain social distance as much as possible.
  • Wash your hands and/or use hand sanitizer.
  • Make sure the contact information associated with your account is up to date.  (To see your account information select "Edit My Account" from the "Home Plate" menu at the top of the website.  Please make sure all guardians and players have complete and correct contact information.)

We are all grateful that our kids have the opportunity to play baseball.  If we don't abide by these guidelines we could lose access to our fields and the opportunity to play.

  2. User acknowledgment of the safety rules attendees must follow based on information found in the OUSD, Safety and Health Driven School Reopening Plan and the California Department of Public HealthGuidelines:
    1. Wellness Checks: Users must conduct visual wellness checks before and during events on OUSD sites. Events must be immediately canceled if someone attending becomes sick during the event. Separate the sick attendee from others and contact emergency services for those that need emergency care.
    2. Face Coverings: Users must wear face coverings when participating in any activity, practice, conditioning, and/or competition, even with heavy exertion as tolerated, both indoors and outdoors (unless the face covering could become a hazard). Face coverings must be worn when not participating in the activity.
    3. Physical Distancing: Users must maintain at least six feet distance from others to the maximum extent possible and wear a face covering. Including when on the sidelines; and during play for outdoor high-contact and moderate contact sports.
Limit observation of youth sports (age 18 years and under) to immediate household members, and for the strict purpose of age appropriate supervision. This includes observation of practice and competition.
Limit number of observers to ensure physical distance can be maintained, reduce potential crowding, and maintain indoor (10% capacity limit) and outdoor capacity limits (ensuring physical distancing).
    4. Hygiene and Sanitation: Users must clean and disinfect shared equipment before use by another person, group, or team. When equipment is shared during an activity, participants should perform hand hygiene (wash hands with soap and water or use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer) before play, during breaks, at half time, and after the conclusion of the activity.
Regular hand washing and hand sanitizer use should be promoted to prevent the spread of germs.
Drink bottles must not be shared, and other personal items and equipment
    5. Identification and Contact Tracing: Users are responsible for tracking attendance at their events. Users will need to collect contact information to be used to notify attendees of a possible COVID-19 outbreak. Users will also be responsible for notifying the local health agency of a positive case.
  3. In any advertising for the use of OUSD Facilities, User shall provide notice of obligation of attendees to follow the Coronavirus rules found listed above.
  4. Coronavirus rules must be posted at all entrances to event and followed by individuals attending the event such as social distancing and mask use.
  5. User shall have the sole responsibility to clean, disinfect, and maintain a safe environment before, during, and after its event, using products approved by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and in compliance with the Healthy Schools Act (HSA).
  6. User shall stop the event and vacate the facility/grounds if people attending the event are observed to be violating the Coronavirus rules.
  7. The District also reserves the right to stop the event if it observes violation of the Coronavirus rules. There will be no refunds in the event of such a cancellation.
  8. Users must designate a COVID-19 Compliance Officer (CCO) to be available during all events. The CCO will serve as a liaison to District Staff, ensuring that all in attendance adhere to COVID-19 safety guidelines.
  9. Users must agree to have an OUSD Specialized COVID-19 Compliance Officer to ensure compliance with the Coronavirus Addendum with a minimum rate of $33.50 per hour (minimum of 3 hours per event). Rate may be prorated based on daily total site events scheduled.
  10. User acknowledges their requirement to pay for the Compliance Officer
  11. The following provisions apply only if the User is not one identified in Education Code section 38134(a):
    1. The insurance required by the Facility Use Agreement shall not include any exclusion for pandemic, virus, or communicable disease.
    2. User has reviewed and understands the risks of the Coronavirus described in the federal, state, county, city and/or district rules and guidelines described at the links above. On behalf of itself and any individuals participating in the event, User assumes all risks, known and unknown, arising from the use and occupancy of the District facility/grounds, including but not limited to any sickness, hospitalization, bodily injury, death, loss of personal property, quarantines, and all related costs and expenses.
    3. To the fullest extent allowed by law, User agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the District, its officials, agents, volunteers and employees (“indemnified parties”) from any loss, damage, liability or expense that may arise from User’s use of the District’s facilities or grounds, even if such claim, damage, loss or expense is caused in part by the indemnified parties. User shall not be obligated to indemnify an indemnified party for liability to the extent it is established by final adjudication that such indemnified party contributed to the liability via willful misconduct or sole negligence for which that indemnified party is legally responsible. User shall, if requested by the District, defend using counsel approved by the District in its sole discretion. Users’ obligations under this indemnity contract shall survive the completion or termination of the project.
